In 1972 when my dad became a charter member of Northeast Fire Department, I jokingly say that is when my fire service career began.  After taking over as chief in July 2022 I can say my 39 years serving the Northeast community has come full circle. I am honored and humbled to be chosen by our Board to lead the men I have served beside for so many years. Our department strives on a daily basis to improve and change to meet the needs of our community. As the Fire Chief I am committed to provide the members of our department the equipment and training to serve the citizens to the best of our abilities.

Northeast Fire Department values the close ties that it has always had with our community. Though our response area has changed drastically since 1972 the desire to serve and protect our neighbors is as strong as when the department was founded. Gaining and maintaining the respect and trust of our citizens by providing excellent service and compassion during their time of need will always be our top priority.
